Ismael Neggaz has ridden bikes all over the world while working as a professional chef. He founded Chocotenango in Guatemala and has perfected his craft here in D.C., where he produces award-winning chocolate from bean to bar.

Originally from Algeria, Ismael Neggaz, cut his teeth in restaurants in London, but it wasn’t until living in Guatemala that he fell in love with making chocolate. Today he creates award-winning bean-to-bar chocolate in Washington, DC.
